Check the label on your original Synology adapter. It should read Output: 12V DC ⎓ 5A with a center-positive polarity symbol. The barrel connector measures 5.5 mm barrel (2.1 mm tip — past ook units die als 2.5 mm gedocumenteerd staan). If your adapter shows different values, it is not the right model.
The DS212 is powered by an external 12V DC adapter (60W). The original Synology adapter can be replaced by any 12V DC adapter with the same barrel connector, correct polarity and at least the same wattage.
